Merseyside’s only and largest homegrown Christmas tree farm. We’ve been selling trees for nearly 50 years, and it’s still Richard and the family out in the fields every season, growing thousands of real trees for real families.

Visiting Rainfords Farm

Open from 1 November to 23rd December. No booking is needed, and parking is free.

Tag your tree: 1–15th November

Come and tag your favourite tree in our plantation fields — it’s free to visit, with no obligation. Found the one? Pay in full on the day, including delivery if needed, and we’ll cut it fresh, ready for collection or delivery closer to Christmas.

From 1st November

All trees are cut on the spot when you choose them or tagged from 1st-15th November, Take yours away that day, or arrange delivery or collection for later.

Wander through thousands of trees in the fields, or browse our instant forest near the barn under floodlights. Tree trolleys are available to help you wheel yours over. To your car, and obviously we have staff to help if needed.

Wrap up warm — the fields are outdoors and can get muddy in November and December.

Our Tree Varieties

Choose from Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir and Blue Spruce — all choose-and-cut and homegrown, Noble Fir subject to availability .

Trees are available in all sizes with Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce available up to 40ft for commercial or specialist orders. Rooted trees with a full root system are also available from 3ft to 6ft so you can plant yours in the garden after Christmas and enjoy it for years to come. Rooted trees will be dug up weekdays only.

Trees are priced per foot. See individual products for exact pricing. Trees of 15ft or more require a personalised delivery quote, so please get in touch.

After You’ve Chosen Your Tree

Warm up with a mulled wine or hot drink in the Après Tree Kitchen & Bar, with its log burner, Chesterfield sofas and seasonal menu. Step into the barn for decorations and lights, or visit our in-house florists for a wreath, garland or grave pot.
