What makes us different

Grown Right Here.
No Mud. Just Fun.

Our pumpkins are planted and grown right here on the farm - and once Autumn arrives, they're harvested and brought over to the picking field at the barn. Not only is it mud-free, but the field is fully enclosed, making it a free-roaming, secure area where big and little ones can pumpkin-pick, run and jump to their hearts' content.

We have hay bales, outdoor seating and a marquee ready for you to get your hands dirty, scoop and carve your pumpkin masterpieces - we handle the messy stuff! Grab a wheelbarrow (children's-sized ones available too) and go exploring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there anything else to do besides picking pumpkins?
Loads! After picking, head into the barn where you'll find autumnal decorations, seasonal gifts and Halloween goodies. Our on-site florist is available throughout the season for bespoke wreaths and arrangements. There's also pumpkin carving and painting in the marquee, the Whodunnit Trail, the Picnic in the Trees event, and the café is open all day - it's a very easy full day out.
Do I need to book in advance?
No booking needed for general pumpkin picking, carving or painting - just turn up any day in October between 10am and 4pm. The Whodunnit Trail and Picnic in the Trees require tickets, available online or at the barn on the day.
Is there an entry fee?
No entry fee at all - it's completely free to come in and browse the picking field. You just pay for the pumpkins you take home, plus any add-ons like carving (£5) or ticketed events.
Do I need wellies?
One of the things that makes us different - our pumpkins are harvested and brought into our enclosed picking field, so you won't be trudging through muddy rows. That said, it's a grassed area and October weather is unpredictable, so dress for the weather just in case!
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs can't come into the retail barn or pumpkin field, but we have a dedicated fenced dog area right next to the picking field - so the whole family can still come along!
Is parking free?
Yes - free parking on site for all visitors.
We're a school - how do we arrange a visit?
We'd love to have you! For groups of 10 or more, please get in touch via our contact page so we can make sure we have the right staffing in place. Group visits are £5 per person and include a small pumpkin, carving activity, snack and drink.
