Are you ready for a incredible pumpkin picking experience? Last year we planted over 30,000 pumpkin plants of various varieties and this year we are planting even more! From the classic orange Halloween pumpkin to a whole host of other varieties, our pumpkin patches are filled with blue, green, orange and white pumpkins. The pumpkin fields do not require you to book in advance, you don't need a ticket - Simply turn up and enjoy a fabulous day out with a pumpkin for everyone!

What makes the pumpkin-picking experience at Rainfords truly unique? Our pumpkins are planted and grown right here on the farm, and then once Autumn arrives, they are harvested and brought over to the picking field at the barn. Not only is it mud-free but it is fully enclosed to ensure a free-roaming secure area for your big and little ones to pumpkin-pick run and jump till their hearts are content! We have hay bales and outdoor seating and our marquee will be set up ready for you to get your hands dirty and scoop and carve your pumpkin masterpieces (leaving the messy stuff with us) making it a truly family-friendly, fun, pumpkin-picking day out.

Grab a wheelbarrow, we have large ones and plenty of children's sized wheelbarrows available. Head into the picking field and have fun choosing your pumpkins. Gourds start at £1 and pumpkins are priced according to their size. There are plenty of size guides in the barn for you.
