Tagging your Christmas tree at Rainfords Farm
Our 2025 Christmas trees are £12 a foot. Trees on this field are upto 11ft. They are available for collection and delivery (delivery fee applies).
Find your tree, and then grab a member of our team (spot a red jacket) on the field and they will tag it for you and take your details. We will do a 'pin drop' at your tree, so we know where it is. Then head into the barn and give you name in at the till, your tree order will be waiting for you to complete. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high amount we are scheduling, delivery dates cannot be changed after booking.Tree Varieties:
We have a variety of beautiful, home grown, Spruce and Fir trees. If you have any questions about our trees ask us and we'll be happy to help.Nordmann Fir
Our most popular tree! - Great needle retention, not a lot of fragrance to it, looks beautiful. Display in a water holding stand to keep it fresh.
Fraser Fir
Great needle retention with a pleasant citrus fragrance. Growth can be a bit haphazard, but overall a wonderful tree. Rub the needles firmly to release the fragrance.
Balsam Fir
A fairly new type of Christmas tree here on Rainfords Farm. Great needle retention and a strong citrus, balsam fragrance. Beautiful! Rub the needles to release the fragrance.
Norway Spruce
The 'traditional' Christmas tree, and my favourite! Will last for weeks outdoors however only 2 weeks maximum indoors. Bring in 10-14 days before Christmas for best results. Lovely fragrance.
Blue Spruce
Fragrant but sharp needles. Good needle retention if displayed in a water holding stand.
Serbian Spruce
A very graceful, compact and bushy tree, with soft needles and great fragrance. Needs to be in a water holding stand indoors.
We guarantee all of our Christmas trees against premature needle loss for 2 weeks from date of purchase. We recommend trees are displayed in water holding stands, and kept watered.
Do you know - our saplings are 4 years in the nursery then they grow a foot a year after planting. A 6ft tree takes a decade to grow!
